Turning an early video prototype into a stable SaaS product

Sendspark video player and personalized video dashboard.

Continued adding features as Sendspark began onboarding paying customers.

Sendspark’s prototype had serious stability issues and was missing functionality required for launch.

Its original developer had also left limited documentation behind, making the existing system difficult to understand and maintain.

A stable foundation for personalized video

We first mapped the existing infrastructure and identified the problems causing production instability.

After addressing those issues, we added the functionality needed for the MVP and worked with Sendspark’s designers to improve the customer experience.

Record once. Send a more personal message.

Sendspark gives sales and marketing teams a way to create personalized videos and distribute them through the communication channels they already use.

The product handles the video infrastructure behind that experience.

Start by making the existing system reliable

Rather than replacing everything, we first understood what was already there.

That made it possible to stabilize the product quickly and then build new features around feedback from customers as they started using it.

From prototype to paying customers

The work helped Sendspark move from an unstable early prototype to a functioning SaaS product with paying customers.
