Built a modern product and technical foundation for a new Packlane product line.

For a small e-commerce business, getting packages out the door can consume a surprising amount of time.

Packlane wanted a fast, scalable product that could handle the workflow from shipment details through purchasing and printing a label.

One place to manage a shipment

We created the product and engineering plan in the first week and built the Shiplane MVP in under three months.

The application included a new interface and design system, payments, and integrations with USPS and three other delivery providers.

Enter the shipment. Choose a service. Print the label.

Users can manage the information needed for a shipment and purchase a discounted shipping label through the application.

The integrations connect that experience directly to the underlying delivery providers.

A new product on top of an existing business

Shiplane needed to connect cleanly with Packlane’s existing infrastructure while establishing a modern foundation for future development.

We iterated with Packlane, its shipping partners, and customers throughout the build.
